The Free plan holds the club's roster, up to 25 current members. This page says what counts toward the 25, what changes when the club reaches it, and how a club moves to the Club plan.
What Free holds
The club's subscription page lists what each plan holds. A club on the Free plan never lapses. A Free club has no subscription date, so it is never read-only and never closes.
On a Free club, a member's page says "The dues ledger is a Club plan feature." under the "Dues ledger" heading, and the links under the club's name read "Overview", "Members", "Admins", and "Your data" without "Mail" or "Payments".
What counts toward 25
Only members whose status is "current" count. Former and archived members do not, however many there are. A club with 60 records and 20 current members is under the cap.
The count shows in two places. On the "Overview", the "Plan" box reads "Free plan: 20 of 25 current members." The "Members" page repeats the same line under its heading.
What happens at the cap
When the 25th current member is on the roster, three things stop and nothing else changes.
- On "Members", the "Add a member" form gives way to a statement that Free holds 25 current members and the club is at that number, then "Every existing member stays editable, and export keeps working. The Club plan removes the cap." Under it is one link, "Ask about the Club plan".
- The join form closes. A person who opens the join link sees that the club "is not taking sign-ups through this form right now. Contact the club directly." Nothing they typed is stored.
- Changing a "former" or "archived" member back to "current" is refused with the same statement.
Everything else keeps working. Open any record and edit any field. Set someone to "former" and their place frees up for the next person. On the "Overview", under "Your data", "Download the club's data" gives the same zip file it gives on any other day.
Moving to the Club plan
Press "Ask about the Club plan" on the "Members" page, or the same link on any member's page under "Dues ledger". It opens a mail to hello@annuaro.com in your own mail program, with the club's name in the subject and a short message ready to send. Send it. A person replies, and we switch the club to the Club plan by hand and tell you when it is done.
Once the club is on the Club plan, the "Add a member" form returns, the join form opens, "Mail" and "Payments" appear under the club's name, and every member's page has a dues ledger. Nothing on the roster changes.
